"As a final note, it was good to see some of our swimmers who are outside the age group categories competing at this year’s event (Isobel Blinkhorn and Daisy Gunn) helping out on poolside and providing some between event commentary.
Finally, Reading’s success over the weekend was not confined to just domestic competitions. In Paris, 3 Reading Royals swimmers (Victoria Usher, Cerys Larsen and Alyssa Basinger) were part of the GB Senior Squad performing at the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series competition. In the team event, they placed second bringing home a silver medal in the Combo event for their country. An amazing 48 hours for Reading Royals.
Well done everybody! Hope to see some of you in Nottingham in April" - Robert Blinkhorn

Team 2 Images here from the warm up and the swim. Can't help thinking that without the 'B' label this squad would have scored better. Good job nevertheless.
Teri Faye-Coupar, Beatrice Crass, Alexandra Thickett, Rachael Newman, Madison Squire, Tara Evans, Claudia Connellan, Molly Sexton, Rebecca Blakey
Including here a great take by SE Synchro of team prepping (and the hats!)
From Haslemere to Nottingham....19 years on"
"Reading’s A team of eight showed no sign of nerves in front of a national audience, with the Free Team broadcast live on the BBC.
As the announcer revealed a score of 73.3000, Reading knew they had done enough to end their long wait for the Redwood.
A combined score of 144.4924 put them at the top of rankings and it was there they remained". SWIM ENGLAND
